So I have an 8 week old partridge cochin cockeral who I've noticed is having some issues. Lately, he hasn't been standing up and walking very much. Whenever I go to check on them, he's always sitting down either on the perch, next to it, or more recently, next to the food while his sisters are up and walking. I've noticed he's been gradually sitting down more and more the older he gets, and now it's gotten to the point where he has trouble walking. He can stand and walk, but doesn't walk very well. He stumbles and nearly face plants and uses his wings a lot for balance. Anytime he shifts or walks or sits on the perch, he's got one wing on the ground to balance or is flapping to get his balance. He's seems healthy and had no issues for weeks, it's just now that I've noticed his walking issue. I'm new to owning standard size cochins and I'm not sure if this is him being overweight, or something else. My 10 week old blue Cochin pullet and 8 week old buff cochin pullet have never had this issue. I'm concerned and I'm not sure what it could be, as when he was a bit younger, he could never sit still and was always wandering, but now all he does is sit. Please help. Thanks.

Can you get photos or video of him just standing or walking from side, front, etc. Can't see anything with just his legs, and top down doesn't look unusual to me.

Wondering if there's something else going on than weight, like injury or illness.

Yeah, I'll try to get him to walk and stand for the camera. I hope there's nothing wrong with him

Here's the vid, sorry it took so long to get it uploaded. I've had a lot going on today and wasn't sure how to get the video uploaded. After looking at him and fiddling around with him a bit it seems like he might have hurt his right leg. He seems to favor that side more and will lean on his left side to avoid sitting on it. I'm not sure what's up so we're planning on taking him to the vet sometime soon. My sister also pointed out that he was fluffing up a lot more than the others which is a sign of discomfort for birds as her cockatiel does that too. Do you guys have any ideas?

Can you show us the bottoms of his feet? Maybe I’m mistaken, but I thought I saw a bumble foot lump.
I can't get the photo right now, but I'll definitely get a pic tomorrow for you. I checked his feet earlier today and they seem fine, but none of my chickens have had bumble foot so I'm not sure what to look for.
