Nothing in general I just wanted to see if it's slightly paler but a healthy chicken has nice red wattles/combs.

Thats good to hear. Hope they all make a full recovery. Maybe next year you'll have better luck getting a broody. One of my d'uccless went brood five times last summer it was crazy! She was only two years old but that seems to be the perfect age chickens go broody.

i was looking at my duccle and her comb looks good and red but she is not laying eggs almost 3 days still waiting for one to day
