So there isn't really a polite way to say this so I'm just going to say it...My 6.5 mo old Muscovy was on my lap this afternoon being very cuddly and sweet when I realized that she pooped on me...but it didnt look like poop. It was white and sticky and looked more like ejaculate. Do females ever do this? Could it be a drake? Please help!

Oh, and the past few days she has been really friendly with all people and wants to be pet and picked up to snuggle. She hasn't been aggressive or biting at all.

Does she/he have a drake feather??

do you have a picture?? if your duck is huge, you probably have a drake, also if there are a lot of crauncling, you probably have a drake

Im pretty sure daisy is a hen. I sometimes soo poo like that when they havent been eating properly or have only been drinking water.

Good. Ill make sure she gets extra food so her poop gets back to normal.

@Goat Walker, do you know why she would be so lovable lately? She has even taken to rubbing her cheeks on my legs if I don't pet her. You seem to be quite the scovy expert around these parts.

Lol, Im no expert by far, this is actually my first year with scovies, I got my first dozen in September.
It might just be that spring is in the air and she is bein more affectionate.

yup looks like a daisy not a donald to me too. maybe give her oyster shell too since it's egg laying season. layer pellets as well. i mix them in. i might reduce snacks if you give her tons of snacks
