Is my duck egg alive?

I have not seen it move but it still has lots of veins. Dose that mean it's still alive

It doesn't matter whether it has veins or not. It could have died at any point, and if you can still see a lot of veins, it probably died earlier on, because a dark mass would be taking up most all of the shell. The veins will grow, and if the duck died, the veins stopped growing and are just there. I am guessing it died, but if you posted a pic, I could tell you. You can only tell if it's dead or not if you know what you are looking for in the egg.

ok its day 26. No internal or external pips yet.

Still early, and internal pips are hard to see. Did you candle them again? I would leave them be from here on out, hut if you did, are the air cells drawing down? Did you see any movement in the one you were worried about a couple days ago?

Yes. I opened the incubator and put the flashlight on the blunt end of the eggs. I also think that other one is dead. Is it bad that there are no pips yet? I'm just rea,ly anxious because I saw on of the eggs move in the incubator the m other day.

That's great! Don't candle that one anymore, just leave him be. Do you have a turner? Did you shut it off?

I turn manually. I stoped at day 25. Do you think there will be a external pip in the morning? Where i live the time is 9:42. Also, that one egg that i thought was dead it is dead. All the veins dissapeared.
