Mine has a beautiful nest piled four inches high which she uses most of the time. But sometimes just plops an egg when leaning over for a drink of water.

The little nest artist has been hard at work all day. Thanks @Magnolia Ducks and @Miss Lydia for making me think of it like that because it makes me grin endlessly (I attempt to be an artist, myself, lol).
She's been making her pre-lay noise all day while working, and peeks out of her little hidey hole every so often just to make sure I don't go shopping or something, I guess. She always digs her way to the plastic at the bottom of the container. Do I need to line it with something grippy? Also, are there such things as egg bumps, like how people get baby bumps?

Yes egg laying ducks do get the egg pouch look! lol. Mine like to move all their bedding away from where they lay. It’s like the deeper the nest indention the better. Have no idea why they do it though. Aren’t they precious all their little quirky things they do?
