is my duck okay ?

Did she recently take a bath? My ducks will take a bath, splash around, and then get REALLY puffy/ruffled up. Sometimes they get out of their water or get "duck zoomies" and then come back to finish bathing, but they may keep their buffed up floofball mode temporarily. The opening/closing of the mouth could be them getting water out of their ears (I believe) after a bath if so.

she has not done it before. shes good now just occasionally like flattens her body, which im not sure what it means. also she is my only duck:/ i know its not the best for her:/

One of my girls flattens herself too, its a way of flirting when they get really hormonal. Mine, Dougie, does this whenever water is around!
Are you planning on getting her a friend? Ducks really shouldn't be alone as you already know- She'd be happier having female duck friend
