Is my free exotic a Buttercup pullet?

I don't think the free exotic would be an EE. Looking at it, I was thinking golden penciled hamburg.

Not Gold Penciled Hamburg chick - they have lead blue legs.
Personally, I think you have a Buttercup, the legs are the right shade - willow green. The comb would be the clincher.

Could you take a better pic of the face of your bird, something not blurry? I understand the bird is probably coming right at the camera, but it does make it hard to see the comb.

Her cheeks are a little poofy but not as poofy as my two Araucanas that I got with her (ordered from MM so may only be EE's but have the poofy cheeks chickmonk strips and are a milk chocolate brown color). The exotic is a much lighter yellow (like Cinderella's hair) with a few dramatic black markings on head and more on her back with ?grey? inside them and she's got a little bit of broken up eyeliner. My 6 year old wants to name her Hannah Montana :lol

She would be proud to have a chicken named after her.

I think Buttercup as well.... but time and a nice clear shot of her comb would help

LOL Try taking her into the sunlight and turn the flash off. It will tell a lot to see what her little comb looks like. I would imagine it's far too early to tell if she really is a she just yet

Slightly better pictures from today. She really doesn't have much of a comb at all. When she was a baby she had a mainly cinderella's hair shade of yellow fluff but it is darkening on her new feathers.

My Buttercup had a very distinct mask, like Ellen. I can't tell if yours has that.

I purchased buttercups and golden penciled hamburgs in the same order and absolutely could not tell them apart in any way, until their little combs started coming in around 3-4 weeks. The buttercups started getting two tiny rows of spikes on their combs, which is how I could tell who was who. Yours looks like mine did at that age so I would guess it is narrowed down to these two breeds until the comb is more distinct. Here's a pic of two of them at 2 weeks old
