you can check her stomach in front of her udder, if it feels tight as opposed to squishy, she’s likely pregnant. feel first thing in the morning when she’s “empty”. goats will bag up at different times, but just before birthing, her udder will get very full, tight and almost look shiny. there are also tendons at the tip of her tail, they get soft in the days leading up to and then will completely disappear within 24hrs of labour.
