I was incubationg some goose eggs and while I was candling one of them I dropped it and it didn't break but the air socket appeared to have grown alot from the drop like I'm talking a whole inch larger is it still possible to hatch my egg will it be safe?

And it appears it may have ruptured the air socket but I moved it around a little and it appeared that it wasn't leaking into the air socket a the gosling was still moving. Will he survive? Well can he/she survive?

It might be fine, and it might not.

For now, I would put it back in the incubator, and give it a few days or a week, and then candle again to see if the gosling is growing properly.

If you cannot tell that egg apart from the others, I would also mark it so it's easy to tell which one it was (pencil or crayon usually work fine for marking.)

Have you guys got any info to help ?
They're about 24 days along. And I don't know where to look for info. This is my first time hatching goose eggs

Hopefully we can get some members in who have more knowledge on this
