Is my hen broody or stressed out?

Hello everyone!
I'm a young farmer and I kinda need help! Besides leghorns and rri, I got myself 2 new ones, well I don't know the type of this hen...But shes yellowish with a black tail, and instead of a comb, she has feather on her head lol, it's all fluffy(anyone knows the type of this hen?). So recently my hens werent so nice to her, rooster defends her but he cant do much... So I noticed, for the last few days she's been sitting in the nest, when I try to touch her she doesn't raise her feathers, but she does make that "broody" sound, and she pecks me. I let them out of the coop today and shes been out with the rest of them, but later she came before them all and went straight to the nest, fixing it and then sat on it. I'm not sure whether if she's under some stress or gone broody, she's been changing the nest tho. I also don't know y are my hens always rude to the newbies, I give them plenty of food and change their water every day... So can anyone help me out on this please? Is she gone broody and should I isolate her or just let her?

It sounds like your girl is broody. Can you give her some eggs to hatch? If she has a crest on her head then she probably has Araucana blood in her, does she lay blue/green/olive eggs? Try posting a photo in the “What breed or gender is this” forum

It sounds like your girl is broody. Can you give her some eggs to hatch? If she has a crest on her head then she probably has Araucana blood in her, does she lay blue/green/olive eggs? Try posting a photo in the “What breed or gender is this” forum

Greetings, and thank you for your reply! I honestly don't know the color of her egg... Most likely brown because I have leghorns and rri, it's night over here but she definitely looks like this one just a diff.color!

She's most likely just broody. Maybe she gets bullied because of her awesome head feathers...

I’m no expert on breeds but I hatch Araucana so I’d say that’s what she is or an Araucana based hybrid? I believe US Araucana standard is rumpless but here in UK they have tails. Here are my 9wk old lavender Araucana...
