i bought myself a new incubator seen as though my Janoel is ageing and always sounds like he’s about to die. it’s the unbranded forced air, automatic 56 egger.
i have both my janoel and the 56 running at the same time from different sockets. the janoel is yet to fail me, it’s at a good temp and holds it well, the eggs feel warm to touch. the 56 has its fan below the eggs, im not sure if that matters as its still pushing air around the eggs. but the eggs all round feel cold. whilst its reading 37.5, my other two calibrated thermometers are reading 37.3. should i up it to 37.7?

If it were me I would calibrate it to the right temp. With my little incs, I always put it up a little higher to 100.3, because the fans are just not as good as my cabinet inc. I wouldn't say it's too cold, but maybe you should test it out with 2 other thermometers

Yes I would raise it so your calibrated thermometers read correctly.

I callibrated both again before doing so and now everything has a different reading. The eggs are now 3 days old and I’m only seeing one with development, whereas the two day olds in my janoel are already showing small webs.

It is good you caught the discrepancy early.
I don't trust the reading on any incubator or thermometers and hygrometers that haven't been calibrated and verified. They are notorious for being wrong. At least far off enough to affect good incubation.

You are probably OK now.
