My SIL and her family moved to Chico and she loves it! She keeps trying to convince us to move up there with her.
Regarding the bumblefoot question, for anyone who comes across this thread in the future...bumblefoot is a staph infection in the foot generally caused by a puncture wound (though it can be pressure related as well). Best avoided if possible!
