Is my Maran a hen or rooster

My Maran is 5 months old. Can anyone tell if I have a hen or rooster?

Looks like a rooster to me. Are you sure it’s a Marans? I believe they have silver legs and your looks to have yellow.

Hi, I was told that it was a Maran, but I had purchased a bunch of different babies. Not a breed I am familiar with so I am on the fence about it. If not a Maran your still feeling rooster?

Absolutely. The white soft looking saddle feathers are a dead giveaway, as is the huge bright red comb and wattles. You should notice pointy hackle and saddle feathers.
