I think you are right! When I got her I was told she was a speckled Sussex and that was obviously wrong the next guess was a Java. With no experience and only peoples guesses we settled with Java... but I was never set on what she was and then I saw the rooster pic and it really got me searching again...after having a lengthy conversation on Facebook I/we have come to the conclusion she is a she and she is an Ancona!
