I totally understand if your vet didnt have one; you can only work with what you have. HOWEVER, I think that is it important you do something for her.... waiting another month to find out if the bleeding is from pregnacy or not is what i would consider responsible and borderline inhumane. (I dont think your a bad or cruel person in anyway. I can see you care, I am just telling you what it looks like from the outside looking in.) Even if she was pregnant, bloody episodes are not normal, and you need to either figure out why she is aborting or completely end her pregnancy now. Repeat abortions are a concern and could lead to her having worse issues as the embryos grow in size and then are aborted. Even within livestock, producers generally do not just let bloody discharge happen and will find a cause for it.yeah for stinkerbell!!!
sarahswank I would have prefered an ultrasound but my vet doesn't have one. Also I am not sure the local large animal vet has one and I am not sure if I can handle taking her to the vet again. The one vet I know that has an ultrasound machine asks way to much. It is just a wait and see game. I think she was to early in gestation when we took the xray as well. I think we just have a few more weeks to go anyway. If she hasn't had them by the end of July then she isn't pregnant for sure.
Congrats! Hopefully we will see baby piggie pictures by next week!
