Is my pot belly pig pregnant?!?!?

Okay I have a vet coming out today or tomorrow. She is still not acting sick but I am worried. Mamajojo can account for that.lol I am going to post a couple of pictures so everyone can get an idea of how much blood I have seen. remember I had her in my house for two days before this and saw no blood. I let her outside to graze she didn't do a lot of running but she did take a mud bath. I brought her in that night and she peed blood not a lot but she did. The next morning this is what was in my bathroom.....since then she has been inside and there has not been any more blood!


this by far is the worst but there have been close seconds.

Oh and i didn't know this or realize this but pigs can jump. I never though she could of been able to jump on my couch!!!

oh and what can i give her to help with constipation. She doesn't have it bad but I can tell, she doesn't go as often as before but when she does it is harder than normal.

That certainly would worry me too. :/ I hope the vet can help you figure it out and maybe let you know for sure if she is pregnant. Good luck!

so I am still waiting for the vet to come. She forgot yesterday. She was my boss so it is more a favor call then a client call so I can't blame her. I need to hurry and figure something out or I wont have a bathroom left. She is still living under my sink and comes out to eat, drink and go potty. Every once and a while I will hear her squeal like she is hurt but she is just wanting out of my bathroom. She is also doing some nesting I think. She takes her blanket out moves her pillow around, puts her blanket back, and is moving everything around that is outside her nest. I need to get a picture of it but her and my daughter play with her wooden blocks together. so cute

The behavior you are describing is not necessarily nesting. Piggies love their blankets and moving things around. All my pigs do that even the males.

that is what i thought. just wanted to make sure. If she is pregnant I can't wait for her to have her babies so I can get my bathroom back. It is kind of odd to be sitting on the toliet and the next thing you know a piggie sticks her head out and licks you on the leg. Really bad when it is a night and dark in the bathroom. Makes you jump out of your skin

So the vet came out and that was a complete 100% no go. The moment she walked in Jazzy would have nothing to do with her. And boy did she scream. SO we are going to the vet monday after hours(good thing I use to work there) and we are going to do an xray. We are going to see if she might have a stone in her bladder and if she is really pregnant. I was in doubt that she was for so long and finally convinced myself that she was pregnant. It will be really sad if it turns out she isn't pregnant.

i don't know nothing about pigs but i never wrote on here and i keep loosing this thread but keep us posted and i hope she is prego and if she is post some pics of her babies.. i love piglets they are so cute

Was trying to figure out what pigs use to "NEST UP" ? i have a prego piggy i think i have posted photos and its been quite some time and she is getting very restless . so need to know what to have in her pen for her to use
