Is my Rhode Island Red a rooster or hen?

I have a rhode island red just like that and I'm anxious to know did it turn out to be a boy? Do you have a pictures of what it looks like now?

New to the site and since we're asking the "Rooster or Hen" question....I have two Rhode Island Reds. Their supposed to be hens but I'm beginning to wonder. They are both a few days past 12 weeks old in these pictures. If they're roosters then they will have to go. Thanks.

Never mind, they are roosters. I figured as much but it was confirmed when they first crowed. Thanks for all the input....

Hello Blii. I know this is well past the date of your post but I was wondering what your RIR turned out to be, hen or roo? The only reason I ask is because I have an 11 week old RIR that I am hoping is a hen but people keep saying is a roo. But at the same time my RIR, he/she acts just like yours did with my kids and is very sweet and kind natured and loves the attention very much. Thank you Blii.

I also want to know, mine is the same way and looks like the originals chicken... I want to know if mine will be a roo too. Newbyman did you find out what yours was? Mine is only 8/9weeks old

im not reading all post yet but i bet this was indeed a cockerel, now a rooster, due to the two toned coloring it has

So disappointing to read the whole thread to find there is no confirmation one way or the other...looked like rooster in the tail feathers but so don't know! And since this post is so old I'll never know...
