Hello! I have an Americauna rooster. He has been acting strange for the past 3 days. We think he's suffering from dry fowl pox, but we are unsure of how to treat it. He's been sleeping in the corner of my horse's barn. He hasn't come out to eat, but when i bring food to him, he will. Just this morning I saw him, but now he's missing. Is he dying??

If its dry fowl pox I would say no he's not dying. Maybe just having a hard time with it. I don't think there's much you can do for that. Usually a couple weeks and its gone. Any pics?

That sounds longer than normal for pox. Hopefully someone else on here can give you a better answer on what's going on. Some pics would definitely help if possible. Good Luck.

So they free range here. I found him laying down on the side of the house hiding from the other rooster. As you can see he lost that fight. He's shaking quite a bit. But can see the white bumps on his comb.

Update: He seems to be walking around just fine now. There have been a few changes. We rehomed 5 roosters the other night, so I supposed our last two, this one (Gandalf) and our other Americauna (Oliver) are establishing whos "the man" now. Olivers whipping Gandalfs butt:( We found this on Olivers comb
