Sick chickens will isolate themselves from the main flock in order to keep from being killed by the flock. A rooster who isolates himself is either being bullied by the dominant rooster to the point of 'no return' or he is not feeling well.

Yes, he has been isolating himself. He's in the horse pen right now. I think he's hiding from the other Roo, but also not feeling well.
