Is my run cluttered enough?

I think it looks great.
You can always have objects available/in storage to switch out objects in the run to keep them thinking.
Thanks! We have some more scrap wood so I might be able to make some more perches at varying heights to switch things up. One of our wooden adirondack chairs is dying, but though the chickens LOVE it when they're out free ranging, I think it'd take up waaay too much floor space. Could use it as scrap wood when it finally gives out, though.

That might be a nice item to recycle, take out some of the wood to size it down a bit, but the basic frame might make a good jungle gym, for example.

If possible, you could also screw it into the side of the run higher up too.

Since you have a limited amount of space I wouldn't add too much more, or else go vertical with any additions so you don't eat up too much floor space.
I had a branch that I had much higher up in a corner (the crosspiece is horizontal on the side with the food, and I was able to brace a sturdy branch across the corner) but they only used it when I put them on it. I think it was too high for them.

It's super old and shifts and creaks when you sit on it, but parents haven't given up on it yet. When it does, I'll definitely think about ways I could use it.

You lost me....take the whole chair and screw it to the side higher up? In what way? This might just be me being tired and slow lol

Actually I think this would be a cool idea - maybe not that whole chair (a smaller lighter one might work) but rather than screw it directly into the posts, have some sort of hook/brackets that can support it, but also so you can remove it when cleaning or accessing the coop.

Yes, just like you said, take the whole chair and screw it higher up. They can use it as a perch and you won't have to take it apart to redo a roost, the chair seat will be the roost. Not sure if the chair will be too heavy or not, it depends how worn down it is and the style of the chair (adirondack chairs come in different styles and angles)
