Here are some pictures of my favorellas.
The one that has most black on it is rooster and other mostly brown is a pullet. They are 5 weeks old today.

I don't know. But Ihave researched a lot of information on chicks and I read it on BYC that a rooster has black feathers and a pullet has brown. I love my babies . They are so sweet.

faverolles(with an s) is the breed name, salmon is the variety, white is also a recognized color in the US //

def a girl btw/ unless it comes from poor breeding/hatchery stock/ you can amost always tell as soon as the first dar feathers come in on the wings, black for males and brown for girls.
