Is my silkie a hen or a roo?

My silkie is roughly 6 months old. No eggs and a sudden aggressive behavior. Started attacking our 3 year old that packed him around every day up till now. After reading some, wondering if we have a roo. Anyone know?

Time for him to take a hike. Please rehome or otherwise remove this Cockerel from your birds before he seriously injures your son. There is Never a good reason to have a BAD rooster.

Because children are closer to the ground, rooster attacks can be devastating especially with injuries to face and eyes.
