Is my Silkie Hen really a rooster?!

Just for future reference OP you're probably never going to find sexed Silkies in a store. Only a few hatcheries even offer them sexed at all. If you want them and need to have pullets, you will need to buy from one of those hatcheries, continue to get straight run then pay for DNA sexing yourself and rehome any cockerels before they get to be a problem, or buy them at point of lay.

Thanks for the information! Yeah I didn’t realize how hard they were to sex or I probably would have thought twice before getting them. I’m gonna play it by ear and see how it goes.

I was worried out single comb hen was a boy when the comb and wattles seemed to pop up overnight but she gave us her first egg a few days later! So it’s possible to have a defined single comb and wattles and be a hen. Ours was like 6-7 months when it really became pronounced.
