Is only having cement bad for ducks?

I'm with Amiga 100% on this. Neoprene duck shows would be an elegant solution. If you don't have carpeted floors, have you thought about possibly getting some area rugs? Aside from being difficult to walk on for sensitive lil' duck feets, it's slick and slippery and difficult for them to get traction on. But yes, if all they have to walk on are concrete floors and hardwood, they WILL develop sores which could get infected and can quickly progress to debilitating infection and injury. So get those duckies some soft surfaces to walk on! Yoga mats, outdoor rugs, doggy bets, any kind of cushioned surface will do, really.

Do you know if I get her some booties it'd be fine? Ill try to find somerhing she can walk on thanks so much for the ideas!!

Thanks so much!!!! Downstairs has smooth tile floors and upstairs there's no tiles so it's just cement. Since she sleeps in my room I leave a small blanket out for her so she can sleep on that and a small house so she's not cold. I've been asking for someone to build me a small house for her but no one has done it

either way, I'll be getting her a diaper soon so she can start sleeping with me
