I'm raising chickens and ducks and was thinking about possible doing quail but I'm just wondering is there really a big market for quail? Is the market for the quail or their eggs?

At least in my area of washington you cant raise them and get much cash back. Here, you raise them for fun and the experience and for the small and super great eggs. Though I suppose if you had enough starting cash, time and knowledge you could make profits?

Going to depend on scale. The people I bought mine from are shutting down their quail farm to focus on other things. When I asked how many they still had....even after beginning to shut down their operation.....they still had 5,000 quail.

At least for them, the market was selling whole frozen quail as feed for birds of prey, dogs, etc.... Not supposed to officially be for human consumption. They also sold live quail to anyone who wanted them.
