Is Rooster Dance Always Aggressive?

It is an effort to intimidate and push you or herd you when the wing is actually dropped and he side-shuffles towards you.
Whrn feet actually dance, I would stomp towards the offending rooster, throw my arms up to look larger, and lean towards the bird.
That is me though, because no bird should be allowed to dominate.

I won't pet him anymore. He gets out of my way and doesn't stare me down or anything. I read some stories about people getting pecked in the face, so I won't let him jump on me anymore.
He was 24 dollars and was supposed to be a hen 😂
So I am just hoping he won't be mean!

The first part of the video is a human harassing him.
Yep, for sure. He isn't "dancing" like the video title tries to imply, he's being teased.

Videos showing people laying human traits on animal behaviours are annoying. I saw one the other day, where a girl says the horse 'is comforting her because she is sad'. She sits down in one part of the ring and makes crying noises. Well anyone who knows anything about horses knows that a normal horse's natural tendency is to approach objects to investigate, and the way to bring a curious horse towards you in a ring is to back away from it and/or ignore it. They are social animals. Good trainers take advantage of this trait and body language, which is how horses communicate. It is not the horse comforting the human.

Guess I have an unusual roo. My 3 year old, 6lb, Minorca roo dances for everyone and it certainly isn't a threat. He runs to us with his wings out doing this sideways wiggly run then drops a wing and dances. If you bend down he might jump up and nip if he's excited. His Daddy lets him bite his hat. He doesn't bite hard though. I usually scoop him up to hug and kiss him. Which he loves. He likes to come inside and watch TV. We put a puppy pee pad down for him and he falls asleep. Sometimes he jumps on my back then rides around on my shoulder like a parrot.
I have 4 roos, only one is mean. I usually try to ignore him. Or if he comes at me he gets the hose. The other ones I can hold. One growls and runs away when I ask if he wants a hug. If I get a hold of him I hug him and he just goes limp in my arms. I've handled them all as much as possible since they were chicks.

**It puts the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again***

🤣🤣🤣 k that phrase 'he gets the hose' just brought Buffalo Bill and silence of the lambs right to my mind's eye
