Is Seven Safe????

Is Seven Ready to Use safe to spray on my rose bushes where my chickens free-range??? I am new to roses but have a ton of Japanese beetle and need to get rid of them before they destroy my garden and my roses. Help!!!!

I think they changed the ingredients in the liquid sevin but left the powder as carbaryl (for now). The liquid carbaryl sevin didn't work worth a doody anyways at the rate the instructions called for so I guess it's all for the better. What is the active ingredient?

zeta-cypermethrin is the active ingredient.

That is the new ingredient. That is probably safer than carbaryl.

Zeta-Cypermethrin is one of the newer synthetic pyrethroids on the market. As a synthetic pyrethroid, Zeta-Cypermethrin is a contact insecticide which provides quick results for eliminating pests.
