My birds are right around 6 months old. I thought this one was a partridge wyandotte. But as 'she' has matured the penciling on the feathers has greatly faded and she has gotten quite reddish. She also has a much larger comb than my other Wyandottes. Her tail is also significantly longer by comparison, but still not what I would expect from a rooster, but I am nubbins, so what do I know XD. She has never crowed, but she does make some different vocalizations that I dont really hear from the rest of the flock. Nothing concrete enough for this newbie to know what to think for sure.

Looks like a production red, they're a mix between New Hampshire/Rhode Island Reds. She may just be the dominant hen, mine are pretty pushy with the other breeds. Judging by the comb and wattle if she hasn't started laying yet she should be really soon.

Edit: Sorry, I didn't notice her comb.

Thanks for the feedback!

I am waiting on pins and needles for those first eggs... let me tell you lol.

Attitude has nothing to do with my doubts, lol. My Barred Rock actually seems to be the head hen. Although one of my gold laced Wyandottes keeps challenging that. This girl is somewhere in the middle. My poor little runt of a Brahma is at the bottom of the totem pole, even the big brahma gets pushed around by the others some which surprises me since she is so much larger than them, just so docile tho.

Its probably half wishful thinking on my part. I'm wishing I had a Roo now that we have decided to free range and I can not get my husband at all motivated to build a run for the girls. Its probably going to take me ugly crying over dead birds at this point...
