Hi!

My bantam cochin pullet, Jenny, is 13 weeks old. She weighs 1 pound, 5 ounces. Her brother is 1 pound 15 oz and standard-sized sister is 2 lbs 7 oz. She looks to be about 1/3 to half the size of big sis. Is little Jenny big enough?

I have never weighed my chickens.

Feel her breast bone, make sure it is well fleshed. Comparing the breast bones of a few different chickens is the easiest way to learn what it should feel like.

If she is eating and drinking well..... her comb is a good color, etc. She should be fine.
