Is she just "challenged"?

Chickens can be picky believe it or not lol! My girls won't eat a scrambled egg to save their lives, it's got to be boiled. I don't know why, i don't understand it myself and i can't ask them.:)
I suppose it might be possible. But they arent getting all of those things at once or even on the same day.

Good to know. Now to get her to eat it! :idunno I made a soft scrambled egg right after reading this cuz I was on my way out to shovel snow to the coop and out of the run (the part they dont use yet). I got them all vasilined up, not an easy job, and waited a bit with them. 3 went in but not you know who. Took advantage of that by closing the pop door and letting Repecca have the egg in the small run. I offered it on a clean sour cream lid because it was red. Nope. She even tried to wipe it off the lid with her beak. :tongue Guess she doesnt like it. Instead she went back to the crumble and ate her fill, had some water, then walked up to me looking up and sat chirping. I took this to mean "I'm ready for bed now." She never even flinched when I picked her up and put her inside. She's so gentle. She looks at my sneaky hand with either eye but doesn't run. I wonder if she sees them as shadows. We can guess forever but better I rule out everything other possibility.

Now that's interesting! I scrambled it because I was in a rush to get outside and shovel them out.

I wonder if she’s just used to you handling her? Maybe she got scared and realized you would come to the rescue? Like - “pick me up mama, put me on the ground. Pick me up mama, I’m ready for bed?” Lol
Sounds plausible to me. Ha. I’ve got a plastic tub - like a dish pan tub, but a little bigger that I put wood ash and soil in (need to get sand though as soil freezes). The girls love it. I know they use it because the ash is all over the side under the coop where it is.
Nice videos. My bigger girls don’t always roost on the roost bars. I leave one nest box open and my EE who is larger sleeps there. The other 3 roost on the bar or on the poop tray with the pine shavings. In the spring or if we get a warm spell, I will add a wider roost to the coop. My girls like scrambled eggs - but they turned their beaks up at BOSS. Go figure.
