is she ready 2 lay eggs yet

i have 3 black giant hens around 16 to 18 weeks old. one of the hens will stay in the coop all day and lay in one of the nest box but as soon as i open the door she will jump out and go outside. just wandering if anyone has any ideas on what she is doing.

yes it is out of the 3 hens hers r the only one 2 turn red.

I am glad you asked this question i have 2 that are acting "different" and in the last week they have gotten bigger combs with brighter color than the others they are 18 weeks old 1 white? (rock or leghorn) and 1 Production red
