I don’t know. We didn’t want a rooster, in fear he’d be mean to my kids or the other chickens. But I really like him already. I’m not sure!? I named ‘her’ Henny Penny. I guess he is Henry Penny now.

We decided to keep 1 rooster. I say ‘1’ because we are now starting to think one of our Cuckoo Marans may also be a Roo!! We’re going to wait it out to be sure, then keep the friendlier one. Here are pics of Petunia (the lighter feathered one) who we think may be a Roo also.
