I have an EE that was born in March, so she is about 4 months. I think there might be something wrong with her because she isn't active. Usually when I go to pick her up she will make me chase her before she lets me catch her. And there are 2 other EE's that she usually follows around. You never see 1 without the other 2 not far behind. Yesterday and today she just sits on the perch with her head like scrunched into her neck. Almost like she is sleeping. Weather here hasn't been too hot, its been pretty rainy. I have seen her eat and drink if I put them close to her. When she isn't on the perch she is sitting in the corner in that same position. She won't go outside and when me or the kids go in she doesn't run and lets up pick her up with out a struggle.......
My husband thinks she if fine and that she might be preparing to lay her first egg. I think there is something wrong with her but can't find any signs of anything...... Please help me figure it out. Poor thing looks so sad...
