Is something wrong with my Buff Orpington?

I really only give them maybe a cupful of scratch every few days but I didn't realize how bad it could be to over-do it. After all of my researching I am thinking there could be a possible mite or lice issue and I'm going to treat the flock and their coop in the next couple of days.

It doesn't make you a bad keeper, they are in the environment.

I suggest Permethrin spray, applied after they go to roost to avoid any chasing. It's safe, effective against many external parasites (except scaly leg and depluming mite), affordable, and easy to use with no withdrawal time for eggs and labeled for use in chickens. A spritz below the vent, in each wing pit and at the nape of the neck... with feathers parted so it hits skin.
