Hello everyone! I am poohbear and a chicken lover. I do eat my hens eggs but not my chickens. I like raising them then I know them too well to eat, lol. 5% Sevin dust is good to sprinkle your chickens with for most bugs. You can buy it at any store that has a garden section. A liitle under the neck feathers, each wing and on the tail area. Adams Flea and Tick spray for dogs is also good for mites, lice and bluebugs on chickens. Plenty of oyster shell or granite shell will help those feathers grow back faster during the moult. Keep your fowl on a regular worming schedule but DO NOT eat eggs or fowl after worming.
