Is that a crest?

Does the duckling on the right have a crest? I ordered them from Ideal Poultry and they’re not supposed to be crested. When I got them at 2 days old the little tuft wasn’t noticeable, but it’s been getting more noticeable as she grows. Doesn’t look like pictures I’ve seen of crested ducklings, but I’m not sure why else she’d have a little poof there. Maybe it’s just a small one? I know it’s kind of hard to see, but it’s the little gray poof on the right side of her head. New to ducks so I’m just curious about it, thoughts?

Agreed small crest. Crests are strong in the Ideal line. They have a disclaimer about crested in your order. Is that a Blue Swedish?

Yeah, I didn’t see the disclaimer until after I ordered. I’ll be ok with it as long as she doesn’t have any health issues. & they’re Cayugas.

Thanks they looked grey in the picture. In my last Ideal order I got a crested buff. Big crest on the head and two on the ear holes and deaf! My first deaf duck.

She was very sweet but loud as she couldn't hear she screeched all the time. Unfortunately, she also couldn't hear the alarm from the other ducks when the coyote came and was eaten.

Looks like a small crest is starting to from. Don't know if it looked like this to you guys but almost just like a bump(kinda like a bruise). OP I would feel the "crest" and see if it feels like feathers or like a bump wear feathers are growing on top of it.
