Is there a clean legged Cochin???

I am 99.9% sure that there is not, but I was looking at some araucana chicks and the woman told me that she has a Cochin too. The week old chick she showed me had clean legs. I asked her if she was sure that was a Cochin because it had clean legs and she said yes. I was not confindent she knew which was which, so I didn't want to get any. Just curious

Well, that is what I was thinking

I think that this woman didn't know much about breeds and she ordered eggs from someone claiming that they were the breeds she wanted

She seemed confident about it and I didn't want to correct her and make her feel dumb. When I asked her about Araucanas, she didn't know anything about them either

I have a clean legged Cochin but it's a mixed with something else. Out of four from this batch 3 were feather and 1 wasn't so maybe itS not a pure breed of Cochin???

just to hammer home the point....at least some of her araucanas should be rumpless and tufted
