Is there a decent incubator for under $100?

That is still Styrofoam though right? I hate anything made from styrofoam. The squeaky sound sends me over the edge.

Yeah I am watching that one, but there have been 10 bids and there are still 4 more days left. I have a feeling it is going to go really high, but I am still watching it. Plus it is going to be going for at least $110 with the shipping if is sold at that price right now, if it goes much higher I could get a new one.

My Hova #1583 was only 89.98 I believe from GQF thats without shipping ...It's cirulated air and has a large picture window, plus it's styrofoam...holding temps and humidity perfect for me.....I bought the turner to go with mine...

Bottom line is that there are NO commercial incubators under $100 that work, and are not made of styrofoam.

So .....

Buy second hand (but prices can be firm even here)

Make your own (can be cheap OR expensive)

Spend more money

Borrow one.

I wonder how many teachers out there have ones stuffed in the back of their closets or under a pile of junk in the garage

Yes it's styrofoam, but I've never heard mine squeak!

I don't think you'll find anything but a styrofoam one for under or anywhere near $100. I had one of the under $100 LGs and I wouldn't use that one again if you paid me to. Some people like theirs, but I didn't. Most of the time you get what you pay for. I've got 2 1588s and 1 1590 (the earlier model) and I have good luck with mine.
