Is there a problem with my chicken laying down on the poo floor?

I saw chicken yesterday sit on the floor with poo.... instead roosting or in a clean nest box.

There are six clean boxes with straw and they only use 2 boxes.

Does anyone think they know a chicken would nestle down on the poo in the floor? This is the first time I've seen a chicken do that.
During the day they have access to dirt and she didn't look like she was taking a dust bath.

It was night but we had the light on in the coop.

Chickens cant help themselves, they just lay on whatever they want. You will have to keep the area clean. Not all chickens like dirt bath ! are you using soft dirt or sand?

Thanks... It gets cleaned daily but at night they roost and poop in that part of the coop. There are 6 very clean straw nests just inches away but I guess she wasn't laying an egg.
