....have been laid to see if they are fertile? One of my birds was sitting on an Aracana egg and for the heck of it I candled it and there is a baby inside! We only have a Silkie Rooster and I have never seen him "do the deed" with any of the larger birds but now I am wondering. There is a rooster next door but our Silkie rooster chases him off. Anyway before I put them in the fridge to eat I was wondering if there is a way of candling right after they have been laid to see if they are fertile.

OK thanks

ANY rooster can do the deed, and as far as I am aware, they do it a lot once they figure it out. A LOT!! It could be possible, and if you have the bator or a broody and the patience, wait and see what happens
