Is there a way to tell them apart?

I'm new to incubating.....my first batches of eggs will be here this week! My question is that I am getting several batches from different sellers of the same breed. I really would like to be able to tell which chicks came from who....even after theyve hatched for records. Is this possible?

I have a Brower Top Hatch if that makes any difference! Anyone out there have a plan to do this and keep them seperated so you know who is who??????

I would use peices of carboard or even egg cartons and section off the eggs right when you stop turning and get them in lock down..

I've seen where you can put some eggs under an overturned pint and/or quart sized berry basket to keep the chicks separate at hatching.

And after they've hatched you can put different coloured plastic zip-tie thingys on their legs so you can tell the different breeds apart.
