Is there a work around for automatic egg turners

I have 5 Little Giant incubators. All have the additional egg turners. The egg turners all plug in separately from the incubators. The egg turner instructions say not to plug them into an extension cord however my setup requires me to do so. Is there a workaround to get the egg turners to operate under those conditions. Send sort of amperage box or volt box to get them to operate. Any help from all you backyard chicken er's would be greatly appreciated

I had my egg turner plugged into a cheap dollar store surge protector. It would not turn. I plugged it into a decent quality 3-prong extension cord and it worked like a charm. It also functioned fine on a heavy duty surge protector. You'll just have to find a quality cord/surge protector it likes that can handle the amount of power it wants.
