Is there an AC you can put in the chicken coop? I could really use advice!!!

Ok thanks wouldn't want that to happen!! Yikes that'd be bad we used this fan all last year and it went fine but I will check it out before I buy a new one thanks so much for all the help!

I use a cheap box fan and have windows on 3 sides of the coop. Yes, it gets covered with dust and feathers too quickly. I have to regularly brush and shake it off. I finally put a screen over it so I'm hoping that solves the problem. No way would an AC work. It would get clogged too fast, Chill the air too much , and not allow for ventilation

I use a attic air from Amazon and I put ice water in the tray and I cover the coop with a whit tarp works well I also put a thermostat in coop so I can adjust the temperature

I have 2 old portable ACs I need to get rid of that would have been perfect for a large coop... But mine is an open air coop...
So I just proceed selling them on Craigslist. Too sad to see them go.

I use a window AC unit to cool off the coop at night. I don't have a tree to shade their coop yet.

I'm not sure how an AC unit would get clogged. It's bringing in air from the backside of the unit, and blowing it into the coop.

So yes my chickens are big and fluffy and hate the heat I would love to put a AC in the coop is there one designed for this do you have one and what do you think the cost would be? I don’t want it to be cold that would shock them but a nice temp I have a fan and was planning to get more but they really only blow hot air around I could get more fans for the run and then if there is one an AC for the coop what are your thoughts?

I just let them be. This year we’ve had some really hot days but they were ok. They were definitely hot, but they had shade and water. I hope you can figure something out!
