Is there any benefit to certain eye colours in chickens?

Curious if there is any known benefits to chickens having certain eye colours over another? In pigeon breeding, its common to aim for a more red eye, as it is believed they have a stronger view of distance (which leads to faster racing).

I don’t know, that is a very interesting question.

Just the ones dictated by the standard for their breed, I think. Theoretically darker ones would be less likely to be sun sensitive like for humans, but not sure if that's been tested
