Is there any type of bedding that is better absorbancy for ducks?

I found a supplier in Warrenton, VA (less than an hour from me) and there will also be vendors at the Homesteader's Convention in Oct. 2018.

For the flax? If so, I'm guessing you would buy a few bags so you don't have to travel back and forth. If you do that, have a dry place to store it because I believe across the board it comes in brown bags, which is not water friendly.

I saw somewhere on BYC recently, I think, where someone took a stall pitch fork and attached hardware cloth to it...wa-la.... oversized kitty litter scoop. Brilliant

I store all of my bedding stuff in lock down heavy duty waterproof totes. With wheels.

I haven't been able to find any flax bedding suppliers around or near me, yet.
