Is there anyone else who doesn't name all their animals?

I hope that they killed them to eat ....

we are going to eat them, but my mom said they might be sick...

Sorry to hear that...

My grandkids asked me what the chickens names are one day,
Dinner, lunch, supper, other than that we don't name our food, its easier to make them food without a name.

I only named one. The rooster. Nick, short for "Nearly Headless Nick" cuz I threatened to cut off his head for egg eating. He doesn't do that anymore. So he's just Nick.

There are others but I didn't name them and many don't have names at all.

I don't name all mine - of course the donkeys, dogs, and cats all have names - but other than that they are collectively "the girls" for the hens, geese, and chicks or the "darn roosters".

Ditto. They usually get dubbed something because of something that stands out about them, or something that they went through.
The rest are just part of their brooder or coop groups. The Reds (produciton, RI and sexlinks) the Blacks (BCMs) the Whites (White Leghorn crosses), etc. or "the bachelors" and "the hens"(even though Red Boy the rooster is in the coop with them)
