I have ordered chicks however. That's what's available right now. I wanted my chickens to be about 9 weeks old. Old enough to go directly into the coop. I was willing to pay top dollar to get the breeds I wanted at the size/age I wanted them.
It didn't work out. So I ordered chicks and bought a 4 itty bitty cutie pies that are already laying eggs. Their current owner wants to rehome them so she can use the coop space for something else. (silkies I think. I wonder if anyone warned her about silkie mind control powers?)
