Is there such a thing as a stealth chicken tractor?

Grandfathering doesn't make sense, because the existing covenant says 'no chickens'.

Ah, but technically there is not existing covenant, since it wasn't filed. If the covenant were to be filed in order to make sure the OP's husband could collect fees, etc, the OP's chickens would exist before the legally filed covenant.

Ah yes, but back then they wouldn't have been chickens exactly, they were called Hesperonychus.

Well, chickens are on the property! :0) Just trying to design a tractor that is not TOTALLY obvious. I was going over the covenant yesterday. It says that animals may be kept as PETS. So that is what mine are. They will be bathed, loved on regularly, named, and treated as part of the family. If my crabby neighbor comes over to see if I am breaking the rules I may shoot her for trespassing. (With a BB gun, of course. It is what we use for all of the nuisances around here...)

Is there any chance of planting a Privacy screen? Like Arborvitae, or holly or Barberry? Barberry is good for keeping out nosy neighbors!

Check out the link below. Surround your tractor with this, and nobody will even know it's there. The mirrored panels are angled in from the top, and all anybody sees is the grass around it. This would give you a stealth coop, hidden in plain sight. But it all goes out the window if you have loud and proud egg layers, then the whole neighborhood will know.
