It sounds like Dom may not be that bad though, if he backs off for your husband, and it's probably just something in the way you act that makes him attack you. You have to show him that 1. you are not a threat, 2. you are higher up than him in the pecking order, and 3. you are not scared of him. I talk about it a TON more here:

It's certainly OK if you rehome him to someone and tell them about his history. If they are experienced flock masters, then they should be fine, even if they do have kids. Heck, I would take him right now if you lived closer by!
