Is there such thing as too many minnows?

I live on the river so I have constant access to minnows. My duckling has a pool that I stock up with minnows every 2 weeks for her to eat rather than going to the river every day. But at the end of the 2 weeks her pool gets cleaned so I give her the surviving minnows sometimes around 10, is that too many? I know ducks eat fish and it won’t hurt them but is there such thing as too many fish? She has a healthy weight I think? I just don’t want to feed her too much minnows.

When you feed her that many do you notice her poop getting runny? Like maybe her tummy is upset.

Yes and no, it gets more watery I believe from the extra water intake in the pool but her actual poo stays solid. She has odd poos, in the mornings they are more runny not quite like diarrhea but more watery and at nights they revert to a solid. It’s odd but it’s consistent so I have not been too concerned especially since she has the most access to water in the mornings before she gets let out.
